The Adoption Process
When you contact us to inquire about adopting a puppy (or two!), we will answer your questions, and ask many questions ourselves. We want to know about your family, where you live, your needs and expectations; all to ensure a good fit. Our desire is to match each puppy and family according to lifestyle & temperament, for the best chance of success.
After these initial conversations you will be invited to come and view the puppies in our home. If you select a puppy at this visit, a deposit of $300 (cash, cheque, money order, or $310 with paypal - includes transaction fee ) will be required to reserve your puppy. You will be encouraged to select a name as soon as possible so that we can begin to use it right away.
As soon as your puppy is ready to move (after 8 weeks) arrangements will be made for you to come and take your puppy home. (A very exciting day!)
The balance of payment will be required at that time, in cash, certified cheque, or money order. Payment may be arranged in advance via paypal if you wish.
On the day you take your puppy home we will make sure that you have lot's of information and helpful tips to make the transition for everyone as smooth as possible. And....we will be available by phone to help you if you need it later.

- Original paperwork from Northumberland Veterinary Services indicating all vaccinations, de-worming, & a well-puppy check
- Handmade quilted mat using all-natural fill and up-cycled fabric.
- A bag of puppy food they are currently eating
- 2 year health guarantee
- All puppies are micro-chipped effective 2012
