Each Christmas tree on our land has been planted, pruned, and cared for by hand.
Every item in our tiny market has been handcrafted with love.
Rising Sun Farm....from our family to yours.
Open 10am-4pm, 7 days a week November 21 - December 24
**A note on keeping each other safe through COVID-19**
Here at Rising Sun Farm we have Christmas trees available across 8 acres of flat open fields so you may safely choose a tree without concern about being too close to others. We kindly request that you only come with your own family/household/bubble**. We do ask for a first name and contact number but if you prefer not to give them we respect that and still welcome you to find a tree on our farm. We have hand saws for your use, which will be cleaned between customers. You are welcome to bring your own handsaw, though we ask that you not bring a chainsaw due to insurance limitations. If your tree needs to be wrapped, please bring the necessary materials such as an old sheet, with you. In the event the parking area and yard become busy, you may be asked to stay in your vehicle or to wear a mask. All trees are $40 even this year, exact change or emt/e-transfer is preferred. If you would like to shop in "The Tiny Christmas Market" (and we hope you do!): please use hand sanitizer before entering (some will be available if you don't have your own), wear your mask, enter 1 person at a time, and only touch the item(s) you intend to purchase.
**A note on self-screening before arrival. If you or someone in your family/group are feeling unwell with new or worsening symptoms that are not related to a chronic illness or known cause; have travelled outside Canada in the last two weeks; have been in contact with a known or probable case of COVID-19; we ask that you postpone your visit until everyone is well and past their self-isolation/quarantine period. If you are from outside the local area (Northumberland/Hastings Quinte West) we recommend visiting us on a weekday when the farm is quieter if possible, to reduce your potential points of contact.
If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to ask and we will do our best to help.
